Car Parking is available on the Eastern and Western Foreshore. Residents generally park on the Eastern Foreshore in the Residents’ Car Park adjacent to the Residents’ Pontoon. The Residents’ Car Park does fill up and residents will overflow to the street parking along Kirkpatrick Way.
Covered parking on the western foreshore is only available through the marina at a cost.
There is a great deal of pressure on the available parking during peak periods (weekends in summer). This parking pressure makes following the etiquette of parking all the more important.
Parking Etiquette
The small car park gate to the Residents Carpark should be swung down (but not locked) between 5am and 7pm on weekends and public holidays.
It should be left open between 5am and 7pm on weekdays.
Both the small and large boom gates must be closed but not locked between 7pm and 5am every night. If you open the gates to pass through during these times, please make sure to close them afterwards.
Space is limited in the Residents’ Car Park, with more residents’ cars than available space. Please always park neatly and as close as possible to other vehicles.
Long vehicles should avoid parking near the entry gate due to the narrow space available. Do not park buses, trucks or trailers (of any kind) in the Residents’ Car Park enclosure or surrounds.
Please observe the No Parking signs. We only have a few and they are designed to allow turning circles so that even large vehicles may turn around on the narrow Kirkpatrick Way.
